Why You’ll Love Thai Pizza
-
Bold, Flavorful Toppings: The key to this pizza is the combination of rich peanut sauce, juicy chicken, crunchy vegetables, and fresh herbs. Each bite delivers a dynamic mix of flavors, from savory to spicy to sweet.
-
Fresh & Light: Unlike traditional pizzas that can be heavy on the cheese and sauce, Thai Pizza offers a lighter, fresher alternative. The crunchy vegetables and fresh cilantro balance the richness of the peanut sauce, giving the pizza a bright and satisfying flavor.
-
Easy to Customize: Love a little extra spice? Add more chili or sriracha to your peanut sauce. Prefer a vegetarian version? Simply swap the chicken for tofu or extra veggies. This pizza is totally adaptable to suit your taste preferences!
-
Perfect for a Dinner Party: If you're hosting a get-together or looking for a show-stopping dish to impress your guests, this pizza is the way to go. It’s unique, visually striking, and offers a fun twist on classic pizza.
-
Quick & Simple: While it may sound exotic, Thai Pizza is surprisingly easy to make. With store-bought pizza dough and a few simple ingredients, you can create this flavorful pizza in under 30 minutes. The homemade peanut sauce takes just minutes to whip up, and the rest of the ingredients come together effortlessly.
How to Serve Thai Pizza
Thai Pizza is a meal all on its own, but you can elevate it with a few tasty sides to round out your meal. Here are some ideas:
-
Side Salad: Pair your pizza with a light, refreshing salad. A Thai-inspired slaw with cabbage, carrots, and cilantro would complement the pizza’s flavors perfectly. Or, opt for a simple green salad with a light vinaigrette to balance the richness of the peanut sauce.
-
Chilled Soup: A cold cucumber soup or a chilled avocado soup would be a nice contrast to the warm, spicy pizza.
-
Asian-Inspired Appetizers: Serve with spring rolls, dumplings, or crispy wontons to keep the theme going. These are easy to prepare and will enhance the overall meal.

Recipe Note
Tips for Perfect Thai Pizza
Spice Level: Adjust the heat level in the peanut sauce to suit your preferences. If you like it spicier, increase the sriracha or add a pinch of red pepper flakes. If you prefer a milder version, use less or skip the chili altogether.
Homemade Pizza Dough: If you have the time, homemade pizza dough can take this dish to the next level. A simple pizza dough recipe requires just a few ingredients and a little time to rise. You can also experiment with whole wheat or gluten-free dough if you prefer.
Vegetarian Option: Substitute the chicken with marinated tofu or your favorite vegetables—think mushrooms, zucchini, or eggplant. The peanut sauce works wonderfully with many veggies.
Make it a BBQ Thai Pizza: For a smoky twist, add a little barbecue sauce to the peanut sauce or brush the pizza crust with a bit of olive oil and garlic before baking for added depth of flavor.
Garnish Ideas: In addition to cilantro and peanuts, you can top your pizza with sliced green onions, sesame seeds, or even a drizzle of extra sriracha if you like a little more kick.

Peanut Sauce: This makes a good amount of sauce. Store leftovers in airtight container in fridge for up to 1 week or in freezer for up to 1 month.
For a quick and easy way to get shredded chicken: Place 1-2 chicken breasts in pot on oven. Cover with chicken stock or broth until chicken is covered. Season with salt and pepper and other seasonings if desired. Bring to a boil. Once boiling, turn heat down to medium-low and cook for 6-8 minutes. Remove chicken from pot and place in a bowl. Shred with two forks.
